PRESSBio Leyla Akdogan received her Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the University of Southern California. In 2005 Leyla relocated to Lacoste, France, where she managed a small gallery and studied illustration at the SCAD University campus there. In 2007 she moved back to Los Angeles. She continued her studies, exploring graphic novel illustration at Art Center in Pasadena. Now a resident artist at The Hive Gallery & Studios in Downtown LA, she spends most of her time creating intricate worlds in watercolor and ink, inspired greatly by myth, fairytale, and vigilant daydreaming. leyla akdoganArtwork
